Fantastic large Murano glass table lamp in pink, shaped like a woman's hat. Made in Italy in the 1980s by Luci. The lampshade is made of pink Murano glass, created using the "Murrine" technique. "Murrine" is a glassmaking technology that originated in the Middle East over 400 years ago. This process, which refers to the colourful patterns and abstract images made on a glass rod, is only revealed by cutting the rod into thin cross-sections, and was later revived by Venetian glassmakers in Murano. Excellent vintage condition. E14 bulb required. Compatible with 220 and 110 volts. Maximum cable length 135 cm.
