Produced with remarkable woodcraft, his creations quickly gained international renown. Today, the Ercol company remains one of the last English furniture manufacturers still operating. An inspired blend of retro lines and contemporary purity for this superb sofa designed in the 1950s by Ercol founder Lucian Ercolani. The slatted armrests are a reference to a great classic: the Windsor chair, very popular in the 18th century. The design of this sofa, imbued with Scandinavian simplicity, was very avant-garde for its time and has survived the ages without aging.
