Mahieu curved wooden bistro chair

The chair is in very good condition. No shortages, no breakage, the wood is not taken off. The varnish, a beautiful golden blond is not faded. The photos can be seen in the photos of the usual but discolored stains, probably old ink stains, on the seat and on the backrest, on the left. The seat is very slightly cracked in places, but there are no misses of tackles. It is stable and solid. The chair comes from the mahieu factories, founded in 1910 in northern france, in romeries near solesne. The quality of the handcrafted combined with the quality of the wood used and the solidity of the assembly, not hesitating to use a screw that today might seem on sized, make the chairs mathieu retain a remarkable freshness after decades of daily use. Comfortable with a large back with a 44 cm wide headband, it has a seating height of 48 cm. Marked below it is numbered and has retained its "mahieu" label in paper. The screw is complete and original. The chair dates from the first half of the 20th century.
