Magnificent vintage suspension from the 1960s-1970s, attributed to Paul Secon for the German publisher Sompex, in the spirit of the Plexima collection. A true piece of design in the Space Age style, characterised by a spherical structure in smoked transparent plexiglass, with beautiful brown and amber hues. Its remarkable work of stretched nylon threads, delicately intertwined, forms highly refined geometric patterns, offering a magnificent play of curves, transparencies, and depth. Once lit, this suspension reveals all its charm: the threads take on warm golden hues and create a particularly spectacular luminous effect. A sculptural and elegant light fixture, ideal for adding a touch of vintage design to a contemporary or retro interior. Very good overall condition for its age. Some slight signs of use and small marks on certain threads, without affecting its aesthetics. Small traces of white paint on the upper part of the socket support (see photos). Suspension photographed in operation and sold without a bulb. Old electrical installation to be checked before use. Diameter: approximately 30 cm Weight: 1 kg
