Art Deco vase with 6 deer in earthenware – C. Catteau Boch Frères La Louvière

Art Deco vase from the fantasy workshops of Charles Catteau for Boch Frères La Louvière (Keramis), featuring a relief decoration of deer and ferns. Made from white glazed earthenware, circa 1920-1925. A rare and elegant piece of Belgian Art Deco. Made from a cast shape (no. 1161), the vase is signed with the black round stamp of the factory, indicating "Made in Belgium – Boch Fes – La Louvière – Belgian manufacture". Very good overall condition, with slight firing cracks and a few tiny pinholes.
