Ceramic lamp by Grès du Marais, France, 1970s

Elegant table lamp made by the grès du marais workshop in the 1970s. The glazed stoneware base features beautiful shades of beige and brown, with a turned effect characteristic of the craftsmanship of the time. It is topped with a cylindrical lampshade in woven natural fibers, in red and sand tones, bringing a warm and graphic touch. Dimensions: • total height: approx. 55 cm • base height: approx. 25 cm • shade diameter: approx. 28 cm • cable length: approx. 100 cm condition: very good vintage condition, working tested. Some original irregularities in the enameling, typical of artisanal productions. Original lampshade in good condition with slight traces of age. Electricity: e27 socket – cable and switch. Signature: “grès du marais” stamp under the base.
