Set of 6 vintage dessert plates

Charming set of 6 dessert plates in fine earthenware, from the famous manufacturer Société Céramique Maastricht (Holland). Model "Boerenhoeve", depicting a Dutch pastoral scene: a thatched-roof farm, cows in the meadow, and a team of horses. The deep blue decoration on a cream background, in the Delft style, is complemented by a beaded border and oak leaf motifs. Maastricht, Netherlands circa 1950. Excellent condition, with a small colour defect on the edge of one plate (see photo). Diameter 20.5cm.
