Beautiful set of 4 vintage stools made of bamboo and rattan, probably dating from the 1960s-70s. Lovely structure mainly made of bamboo, enhanced with curved rattan elements and bindings, featuring crossbars and decorative arches. Their honey hue, slightly trapezoidal silhouette, and beautiful proportions give them a lot of charm. The four seats, with their foam still in good condition, have been reupholstered with new, understated, and bright ecru fabric, which pairs particularly well with the natural tones of the bamboo. The structures have also been carefully cleaned and then nourished with linseed oil to revive and protect the material. With their wide and generous seats and a height of 44 cm, they are true seats, comfortable and pleasant to use. The four stools are solid and stable. They will easily find their place in an interior with natural materials, a country house or seaside home, a winter garden, or a conservatory. They are in generally good condition for their age and naturally show some signs of wear: marks, small cracks, and occasional wear on the bamboo, rattan, and bindings, visible in the photographs. These imperfections are consistent with their vintage character and do not hinder their use.
