Garden furniture Carpes Koi hand painted

This beautiful set of bamboo table and seats from the 70s is a model as charming as it is clever. It is both comfortable and compact when stored, easily adapting to small spaces. Its bamboo structure, completely repainted with a resistant clay green paint, is actually quite heavy, which makes its use possible both indoors and outdoors. Delicate blue, red and white koi carps were hand-painted under the glass top, like a japanese basin. The two seats of the two comfortable armchairs have been redone in an african wax fabric brought back from cape verde, in green and orange tones. This garden furniture, as practical as it is poetic, offers the illusion of a japanese garden. (despite a thorough cleaning and a complete restoration, defects and other signs of the time may remain on this antique furniture).
