Writing desk

Mahogany wood writing desk late 19th century. "in its own juice" but ready to come back to life with its 2 inkwells remaining in their place, and some useful skill to come to restore the interior to its traditional appearance!... The hinges and its closure are impeccable but its age of memory alive is real and rich in the pride of a Saumur schoolboy who arrived in Anjou from the southwest in 1900.! The inside of the lid is 43 cms X 24.5 cms to be covered in green paper... The bottom of the writing case is 38 cms The decorative surface of the lid to be reupholstered according to the choice of material is 14 x 32.7 cm.
