Jönsson. Anders anton jönsson (born july 9, 1907 in stockholm, died november 21, 2002 in stockholm) - swedish painter and graphic artist. After leaving school, jönsson began painting and worked as a professional painter for about 10 years before studying art at the skåne school of painting in malmö in 1934. Then he made a number of study trips to france and spain. He made his debut at an exhibition of the mixen artists' group in malmö in 1938 and, together with 20 other painters from scania, exhibited in new york in 1939. He participated in group exhibitions with skånes konstförening, sveriges allmänna konstförening, helsingborgs konstförening and landskrona konstförening. He has exhibited separately at sds-hallen, malmö town hall, malmö museum and krognoshuset in lund, as well as at various places with his wife. His art consists of floral still lifes, figural motifs, portraits, landscapes and seascapes in oil, pastels, watercolors or naturalistic lithography. Jönsson is represented in the malmö museum, the municipality of malmö, the municipality of landskrona and the county councils of älvsborg and malmöhus.
