Set of wall sconces model Alpha. Published by the firm LIGHT. Belgium circa 1980. Its founder Paul Gillis, who worked in design and interior architecture, and taught at La Cambre in Brussels from 1959 to 1993, designed the interiors of several brasseries and restaurants in Brussels, notably for the Fast Food chain Quick (versus Design 1984). The sconces offered here are of unique finesse and delicacy! They seem to have been frozen in the wall. Their brilliance enhances a play of reflections and perception of space, with the advantage here of having 5 available, allowing for the composition of a bold and absolutely original interior. Composed of finely crafted gilded brass cups, These pieces remain in good condition and each show some signs of age and patina, attesting to their antiquity. This can be seen in the photos. All elements are present, A black lacquered steel base allows for wall mounting with 2 screws (not provided), followed by the lamp body secured by a screw, and the inner plate. The socket accommodates bulbs updated to LED technology in the R7s format. Dimensions: 30 X 27 X 4 cm. Weight: 1420 g.
