Napoleon III period couturier table

Napoleon III period couturier worker. Inlaid with rosewood, ebony and lemon tree marquetry and brass decorative border. The lid lifts on hinges to reveal a partitioned interior for storage, it was restocked with a striking fuchsia pink suede. The original mirror is attached to the underside of the lid and shows some freckles. Four elegantly curved black lace-up feet, with embossed brass decorations, support a lower shelf also with an encrusted marquetry pattern. This beautiful piece dates from the late 19th century and is in very good condition for its age. It should be noted that the key is missing. Around 1890.
