Large antique Art Deco emerald cut crystal vase, Bohemia 1920-1930

Superb large blown crystal vase of very high quality, from Bohemia, in Art Deco style, dating from around 1920-1930. In the style of the creations of Josef Hoffmann, Vienna Secession, for the Wiener Werkstätte, as well as certain productions from the Moser glassworks. It also evokes some works by Daum. No formal attribution could be established, as this model does not appear in the known catalogues of Moser or Daum. Nevertheless, it is a remarkable and rare piece, made of thick crystal tinted in a deep emerald green hue, with manual cutting of great precision alternating between wide polished facets and concentric rings, featuring an imposing massive octagonal base that highlights its silhouette. The significant weight, the quality of the crystal, the finesse of the cutting, and the intensity of the colour are in line with the high-end productions of the major Bohemian glassworks from the first half of the 20th century.
