Pretty ceramic bowl, empty pockets, signed "ar" for alain rufas, 1960s/70s, vallauris. Alain rufas, born in 1941, french painter, engraver, sculptor and ceramist; worked from 1965 to 2004 in vallauris, then moved to lavaur (tarn), to continue his sculptural work in metal... Heavily chamotte and enameled earth, figures in relief. Excellent condition; a slight chip of enamel is to be noted around the edge (see photos).
