Diamond chair by René Jean Caillette

The Diamond model was designed by the French designer René-Jean Caillette and published by Steiner in 1957. It consists of a four-legged base made of black tubular metal and a seat shell made of moulded plywood. Chairs with a completely minimalist design that will fit into a chic and well-kept interior. It provides good seating comfort. This model is part of the great classics of design and was awarded at the International Exhibition of Brussels in 1958. As a little anecdote, the designer conceived this chair from a piece of cardboard and stated: if cardboard could bend, wood would bend too. Designer: René-Jean Caillette. Publisher: Steiner.
