Oratory furniture or oak kneeler, 18th century period

Magnificent prayer to God, kneeler also called oratory furniture in richly carved solid oak. High Renaissance period. 17th century period. Opening on the front with a door and a drawer. The 2 keys are present. Richly carved with foliage scrolls on the facade. Kneeler opening onto a storage chest. Rests on a claw base. (note slight missing on one foot see photo) A board on the back of the furniture has been replaced. Good general state of conservation. Beautiful waxed patina.
