Louis XV Regency Style Gilded Mirror with Glazing Beads

Mirror in gilded wood molded and carved in baroque rocaille spirit, taking up the Louis XV regency style, with glazing beads. Plant motifs including acanthus leaves in clasps, flowers, openwork shell. Pretty gilding between gold and copper. We note some slight chips of gilding. We note a good quality tint on the central mirror and wear of the tint (intentional in the design) on the side mirrors called in glazing beads. Quality work, 20th century.
