Very important renaissance chest transformed into a two-door sideboard in the nineteenth century. Composed of many details carved in wood. This buffet is richly decorated and testifies to the talent of the cabinetmaker. You can see angels, traceries, medallions, plants, shells, etc. The moraillon lock is from the period and is used today as a decoration. It was common in the nineteenth century to transform old medieval and renaissance chests into more common furniture such as sideboards. The letters "p.kec" engraved on the façade may be an abbreviation of the name of the first owner of the furniture.
