Description
Bottle created most probably by the glass artist Henri Raspail (see second bottle in my shop with the name of the artist, the same style. On this bottle, see inscription below on photo. Recognized in his field in the same way as Eric Laurent, both working at the Allex glassworks in the Drôme valley in the 20th century. This is a unique piece, signed by the artist, dating from 1984. Body of this oval-shaped bottle, with cap. Before blowing the glass, the master glassmaker can apply the desired color(s) by rolling the ball of molten glass in glass powders previously colored with metallic oxides. For this piece, the impressive core contains many colors, including red, orange, gray and white. Once its colorful decoration has been formed, the ball is covered with a second layer of transparent glass. The piece is ready to be blown. This creation captures the light and gives the brilliance of the colors. Just magnificent and hypnotic. Dimensions and weight. Width: 15 cm. Height: 14 cm. Depth: 5 cm. Weight: 1340 grams. A second bottle is also on sale in my store.
