Set of 3 Italian modern Memphis style nesting tables 1980s

Set of nesting tables produced in Italy in the 1980s and executed in a bold Memphis style. The design recalls the playful and expressive work of Ettore Sottsass and Michele De Lucchi. The frames are made of steel and rest on distinctive ball feet. The tables are topped with coloured glass in black, red and yellow, creating a vibrant and graphic composition. A characterful and decorative set, ideal for adding a strong postmodern accent to any interior. The set remains in good condition. The glass shows some traces of use and age, but is free from chips or damages.
