8-bowl service from La Colombe pottery

Magnificent set of 8 large glazed stoneware bowls from the famous Poterie de la Colombe, an art workshop founded in 1960 by the ceramist Madeleine Brault. These Mid-Century Modern pieces feature the "Tachiste" decoration, emblematic of the workshop: dark oxide projections on a satin cream white glaze, contrasting with the raw reddish stoneware left unglazed on the outer rim. Each bowl is entirely handcrafted and bears on the underside the famous relief stamp representing a stylised dove with the inscription "Colombe France". Perfect for soups, ramen, individual salads, or cereals, they will add an authentic and elegant touch to your table. Dimensions: • Diameter: 19 cm. • Height: 5 cm. Very good overall condition: shiny glaze, no chips or cracks. Please note: one bowl has a small material irregularity on the outer rim, due to the original firing (visible in the photo), without impacting the aesthetics or use.
