Small carved oak library

Neo-rustic oak library – early 20th century. Charming neo-rustic library in solid oak with two glazed doors. It features beautiful quality carving with decorations of rosettes, stylised foliage, and intricate mouldings, typical of French regional furniture from the early 20th century. The straight cornice with a slight overhang crowns an elegantly balanced façade. The glazed doors reveal several internal shelves, providing ample storage capacity for books, collectibles, or crockery. The panelled lower section and the curved feet add a lot of character to the whole piece. The shelves are adjustable, thanks to rack and pinion mechanisms. Beautiful warm patina of the oak and a very attractive decorative presence, ideal for a chic country interior, family home, or antique decor.
