Superb and rare pair of vintage wall sconces made in France in the 1950s by the Luminaires ARA Paris (Model ref. A.P. 92). Each sconce features an elegantly curved reflector in translucent white Rhodoid with a ribbed surface, adorned with pyramid-shaped brass cabochons. The lower part ends with a conical tip in black lacquered metal and brass, adding a dynamic touch typical of the emerging Mid-Century / Space Age style. Exceptional original condition (NOS - New Old Stock): These pieces have retained their original cardboard labels ("Luminaires ARA Paris - Ref. A.P. 92 / Control No. 395"), confirming their authenticity. Remarkable vintage condition, very clean, with no cracks on the reflectors. Era: 1950s.
