Travel writing box art nouveau box filled with letter and inkwell kit 1890-1900

This beautiful art nouveau letter box is filled with everything you need to write. From the years 1890-1900, this lovely box is in velvet sheathed royal blue. It is a travel writing board, with two small crystal inkwells on the sides, decorated with beautiful ornaments and arabesques that intertwine in art nouveau metal. When opened, one discovers a padded interior embellished with correspondence kits: envelopes, vintage stationery and bone accessories - a ruler, a paper cutter, ink primer, a penholder, a pencil, a bucket and a blade. A lock closes this beautiful box with its key. In very good general condition, I report discreet traces of use. It measures 35 cm X 18 cm X 10 cm. We imagine, kept in secret, the fiery letters of a young lover, the elegant correspondence of two friends, the news of a mother, the stories of a journey to the rhythm of the train through distant lands...
