Aperitif basket for glasses and bottles in rattan wicker

Charming fine woven wicker basket with a very particular shape, to take an aperitif into the garden or on a picnic. It has spaces for 4 bottles and 12 glasses. It must date from the 60s or 70s. It is in good general condition, very solid but does not hide some signs of its past sixty years: slight abrasions to the strands under the base, a few damaged strands. I cleaned it carefully (brush in a vinegar water bath to remove as much dust as possible). Then I applied a thin layer of varnish under the bottom (part in possible contact with the ground) and on the braided peripheral edge to protect it for its new life. It measures 18 cm high at the edge of the basket, plus 13 cm in height for the handle, 48 cm in largest diameter.
