Large Sicilian barbotine jug from the 1970s, inspired by the prickly pear. This piece comes from the ceramic tradition of Sicily from that era, showcasing the expected modelling and shine of this technique. The jug displays beautiful colour variations ranging from deep green to pink and orange tones depending on the sides. A characterful piece in very good condition, except for a small restoration of a chip on the neck, with no signs of crazing otherwise. Height 23cm, width 24cm, weight approx. 1kg.
