Vintage White Ceramic Openwork Basket with Applied Flowers

A delightful vintage ceramic basket featuring an intricate openwork design inspired by traditional woven wicker. Delicate white ceramic strands spiral gracefully from the centre towards a scalloped rim of small circular loops, creating a beautiful sense of movement and an almost lace-like appearance. At its heart sits a charming arrangement of three-dimensional ceramic flowers, with a soft yellow central blossom, two little powder-blue roses and glossy green leaves. The combination of delicate craftsmanship, pastel colours and sculptural detailing gives this piece a wonderfully romantic, cottagecore character. Perfect as a decorative centrepiece, for displaying small treasures or simply as an ornamental object on a shelf. Approximately 22 cm in diameter and 4 cm high. In good vintage condition. REF 26247.
