Murano vase

Magnificent vintage vase from the 1960s/1970s made of Murano glass. This piece stands out with its elongated "shell" shape and its bright orange colour, emblematic of Space Age design. The vase is made using the incamiciato technique (double glass): a layer of bright orange glass fused onto an inner layer of opaque white glass, giving the colour exceptional depth and brightness. Characteristics: Style: Mid-Century Modern / Pop Art. Manufacture: Mouth-blown glass. Fine artisanal air bubbles (seeds) can be seen in the mass, evidence of ancient and authentic handwork.
