Campaign table in beech wood

Superb farmhouse table from the first half of the 20th century. Made by a French cabinetmaker, it is crafted from solid beech. With its very simple appearance and four square legs, it has developed a beautiful patina over the years, giving it a lovely honey colour. There are no carvings or mouldings; its beauty lies primarily in its simplicity. It is in very good condition, perfectly stable and solid. Marks of time and other traces add even more charm and authenticity. No restoration has been carried out; it has simply been treated and protected with wax to preserve its original colour. A drawer allows for the storage of papers or cutlery... This table will be ideal for creating a dining area with a very rustic feel amidst both old and modern decor. Circa 1930.
