A unique organiser made of hand-formed glass, produced by Sklo Union Skrdlovice in Bohemia (Czechoslovakia) in the 1960s. The item is made of thick glass with an irregular, dynamic form reminiscent of crumpled, liquid mass. The quadruple-framed composition combines a transparent base with three deep compartments, highlighted by striking colour accents: cobalt blue, emerald green, and dark amber brown. The shiny surface and carefully rounded, polished edges testify to the precision of Czech glass craftsmanship. Each compartment is separated by fluid colour transitions, and subtle air bubbles and small natural irregularities reveal the handmade nature of the piece. The item is in very good vintage condition: no chips or cracks, with minimal signs of use visible only on the underside. The glass, integrated with colour and light, creates a form with a distinct postmodern narrative. The organiser seems to tell its own story, as if it were not only a useful vessel but also a sculptural memory of the expressive 1960s, when Czech applied art boldly experimented with a new understanding of decorativeness.
