This lithograph is signed and monogrammed with a red stamp in the plate. Note that the lithography is in good general condition, the colors have remained fresh. We report slightly damaged and yellowed edges, a fold in the margin, some small black dots on the lithograph. We have taken as many pictures of the defects as possible so that you can judge the condition. Sold as presented. Henri rivière (1864-1951) was a french painter, engraver and illustrator. He began his career with drawing and then with intaglio engraving and specifically etching in 1882. At the same time, he began a career as a director and scenographer, in 1886, from shadow theatre to the cabaret du chat noir, shows that he improved by creating highly innovative colour sets. He then devoted himself exclusively to painting and engraving and established himself in the history of etching, printmaking, wood engraving, lithography and watercolor (he painted about a thousand watercolors).
