African game made of carved iroko wood named "awalé". History: this is the most common of the games of the "mancala" family, a set of African games such as "count and capture" in which pebbles, seeds or shells are distributed in cups or holes, sometimes dug on the ground. The rule: this is a game of reflection based on calculation. The winner is the one who manages to amass the most seeds. Length: 44 cm. Width: 9cm. Thick: 7 cm. A few seeds are missing, easily replaceable by dried or other beans, the important one being the number to win and does not depend on the shape. A piece is missing at the notch-shaped end.
