False drawer under the marquetry belt in the upper part: see the last 4 photos. Secret mechanism that works: the marble top slides 20 cm to be able to slide documents underneath: “drawer” can be around 5 cm deep. Very beautiful facade with the effects of marquetry, veneer and ornaments typical of the Louis XVI style: Marquetry drawers – veneered drawer cores, certainly mahogany. Oak drawer units. 2 slatted doors revealing 5 vertical storage compartments: document holders, vinyls. Ring handles - pretty gilded ornamental bronze. Spinning top feet. Veined marble top in gray white green tones. Sides of the furniture: beautiful veneer effect with a marquetry contour band. Approximate total dimensions. P38, 1cm X l73cm X h140, 6cm.
