Pair of Empire Period Dolphin Armchairs

Pair of dolphin armchairs in solid mahogany. Empire period work from the 19th century. Backs with capitals, slightly arched. Comfortable seat. Seat height: 40 cm. These magnificent armchairs are covered in a lightly embossed blue fabric decorated with diamonds sewn with intact white thread. To clean. Rests on a saber base. The armrest consoles are finely carved with dolphin heads and the connecting stops sculpted in continuity in the shape of fins. The connecting dice are decorated with stylized shells. Good general state of conservation.
