Moutiers earthenware jug, hand-painted blue decoration. France, circa 1960. Jug with ribbed body, flared neck, and ribbon handle highlighted with blue lines. Stylised floral decoration executed with a brush in cobalt blue tones, based on traditional Savoie earthenware patterns. The upper edge is enhanced with a painted ornamental band. Under the base, handwritten inscription: "Décor Moutiers – Handcrafted", confirming artisanal production. The handwritten inscription under the base indicates a manufacture between the years 1960 and 1980. This is therefore a piece of artisanal earthenware from Moutiers, from the second half of the 20th century, typical of the revival of regional Savoie ceramics during this period. Height: 23.5 cm. Earthenware in excellent condition, glazed interior, slight signs of use on the base.
