Korean stoneware ashtray with poppy motif

The container is made of Korean stoneware, with a speckled sheen and orange and reddish poppy flower patterns, yellow poppy seeds, foliage with a bee approaching it to forage. The edge is surrounded by a dark brown border. Very slightly the painting on two poppies is dotted but this is done during its manufacture.
