We are pleased to offer for sale this magnificent antique Chesterfield library armchair from around 1830, from the William IV era, featuring a faded oxblood leather upholstery and finely carved twisted mahogany legs. This elegant and very comfortable chair, in a classic English style, has a precious and significant appearance. The chair retains its original patinated leather, delicately faded, with the possibility of complete restoration and hand dyeing for £600. It has been lightly restored with a deep clean, waxing, and manual polishing of the wood. Signs of age and use are visible in accordance with its hundred years of existence.
