Renaissance walnut buffet carved in Caryatids, France, nineteenth

Important sideboard / vessel two carved walnut bodies from a burgundian castle. Beautiful model in the renaissance style, inspired by the burgundian and lyonnaise productions of the sixteenth century (school of hugues sambin). The lower part consists of a niche, surmounted by 3 drawers and three cupboards (key locks, keys present, locks in working order). The upper part has 2 galleryways. Carved uprights of caryatids / baths / busts of women / winged mermaids. Abundantly carved with floral motifs, fruit trees, rinses, acanthus leaves, mascarons, lion muffles... Handles and entrances of wrought iron locks. Renaissance style, france, nineteenth, circa 1880. In very good condition, beautiful patina. The furniture has been cleaned, the old finish stripped, wood treated against xylophages, new polished wax finish. Height 265 cm. Width 172 cm. Depth 58 cm.
