50s coffee table with XXL exotic wood top

Antique coffee table from the 50s with its solid oak tripod base and its exotic wood top cut directly from the trunk (which suggests the exceptional size of the latter!). We love the unique shape of the whole, the top with its impressive thickness, the wood grain and its elegant color. The roughness and the edge of the wood also give it a certain charm. The massive and imposing base, with its ovoid shape, is reminiscent of the work of designers of the time, like perriand or chapo. Its xl size will make it an almost sculptural piece in your interior.
