Impressive dining or meeting table from the Tucroma series by Italian designer Guido Faleschini, published by Mariani and distributed by Hermès, 1971. Part of the famous Tucroma series created in 1971, this table is the result of the collaboration between Guido Faleschini and the publisher Mariani. Its design is inseparable from the history of the Hermès house, which distributed this collection in its French boutiques during the 1970s. It features the codes of the saddler: the use of high-quality leather (often found on the straps of the matching chairs) and a luxurious finish, such as the plum felt that adorns the table's frame. The table is distinguished by its imposing chrome steel legs with a triangular section that support a black or smoked glass top, creating an architectural and high-end aesthetic. The table can accommodate 8 to 10 guests. The table is in very good overall condition with slight signs of wear from time. The thick black glass top is well preserved with minor usage scratches relative to its age. The chrome base has been cleaned and regained its shine, with slight signs of wear. The plum felt is in perfect condition. A superb table ready to take its place in your home!.
