Pair of Jasba Keramik vases – Germany – 1950s/60s – brown, black & gold

Very beautiful pair of Jasba Keramik vases, an iconic German manufacturer of decorative ceramics from the mid-20th century. A superb Mid-Century set with very elegant lines: baluster shape, wide flared opening, side handles, and a small foot. The decoration combines a very dark brown glaze, almost black and particularly shiny, with delicate golden highlights accentuating the neck, handles, and foot. Small touches of orange punctuate the surface and add a lot of character to the whole. The original Jasba Keramik labels are still present on both pieces. A very lovely decorative duo, suitable for a 50s/60s interior, Mid-Century, vintage, Art Deco, or contemporary style. Sold as a pair. Condition: good condition. Some slight signs of use may be present due to age; gilding to be appreciated in the photographs. No cracks or chips. Hand delivery possible within 20 km of Amiens.
