Magnificent and iconic solid oak cabinet by René Gabriel 1945. Cabinet completely cleaned, superb original patina revived. Very nice vintage condition. Stable and solid healthy cabinet. The doors open easily and are not obscured. Original locks operate 2 keys. Inside, large storage capacity, linen part and wardrobe part, the bottom is lined with a geometric fabric "small radishes". The cabinet is easy to transport, the doors can be removed as well as its shelves...it is completely dismantled and will be delivered to you disassembled! For Parisians and commuters a reassembly service will be offered to you, you just have to mention it when choosing your delivery preferences. Possibility of delivering it already assembled for easy access on the ground floor, this should also be mentioned. A little history: Oak cabinet called “disaster victim” by René Gabriel (1899-1950). René Gabriel created, at the request of the Ministry of Reconstruction and Town Planning in 1944, emergency furniture sold to victims following the bombings of the Second World War. Please note, all of this vintage furniture retains traces of its previous lives despite a long and careful renovation. Dimensions: l129xp52xh180. Shelves: l59xp44. Feet height 13-20cm.
