Hammond USA Typewriter 1919

Rare! Hammond typewriter (usa). Serial number r 223 632. This is a portable multiplex from 1919. First semi-visible typewriter, its keyboard consists of 3 rows of keys (qwerty keyboard) with characters on interchangeable circular segments (2 are proposed here) that attach to the central wheel. On this model, the paper wraps into the rear cylinder, as the text is struck. Machine sold as is. It does not currently work, but is restorable. The original box is damaged on top, as shown in photo 4.
