Description
This delightful set of two fashion prints depicts elegant people in belle epoque fashion. These are old engravings on paper, enhanced with colors. These are fashion plates titled "true fashions - family work" "museum of families rue st roch n°3 paris". They date from the end of the 19th century: 1861. These plates represent elegant women in long corseted belle epoque dresses with wide petticoats and bodices and wearing colorful headdresses. In one engraving, a little boy in short pants is depicted. This is not a recent print, but an authentic old board. Dimensions approximately 28 X 19.5. I report moisture stains, signs of wear, torn edges and folds. A precious testimony of belle epoque fashion!.
