Quirky and highly distinctive 80s wall clock made in japan by rhythm. This nice clock has an imposing squared shape, with big transparent dial enhanced by a golden stripe and golden / brown frame that evoke the 70s / early 80s and the far east design patterns of the age, like the interiors of the lovely movie "in the mood for love". But the uniqueness of this clock is its "electronic strike" mechanism. Similarly to pendulum clocks, ths mechanisms provide the hour strike, emitting a nice sound from a small loudspeaker. The intensity of the sound is adjustable, and the sound can be switched off as well. The clock has a high quality and authentic quartz mechanism made in japan. There is still a label depicting the "electronic strike" feature on the back panel. This vintage piece is truly unique and it will give an unmistakeable vintage touch to your favourite room. Item.
