Oil on canvas representing a mountain village animated by villagers working in the fields: plowing, haymaking... Signed and dated: "aristide dupont 1886" intriguing and fascinating I do not know this painter and am unable to locate the place...can - perhaps you will have more success than me in this research. The canvas is 46cm by 37.8cm and the painting 51cm by 43cm.
