Hollywood Regency style gold metal flower foliage lamp with glass globe

Here is a very pretty gilded metal lamp with its original opaline (white glass) ball globe which offers a soft and diffused light. Combined with vintage rattan, it will add a touch of elegance, but it can also be combined with many other interior styles, guaranteed "wow" effect. With its plant-shaped structure, aerial, exuberant and the glass/gilded metal combination, it recalls the codes of art nouveau, I think it is from the 60s or 70s, taking up the american hollywood regency style appreciated in europe in those years. It is in good general condition: it works (i tested it), electrification in good condition, solid welds, intact globe, but it also shows many signs that testify to its age, the patina of time: marks, stains and numerous scratches on the gilded metal (see the photos up close). To be adopted as is: for me who likes the patina of time, the aesthetic remains quite acceptable, but it is a matter of taste, or to apply a golden lacquer. In addition, its base was no longer heavy enough to easily support its weight (i think a weight had been removed from the base), so I added small bags of pebbles to the base to restore its original stability. It measures approximately 34 cm in height, approximately 23 cm in width, approximately 26 cm in depth, the electric cable measures 200 cm. It is intended for a small screw-in bulb (e14), I will leave you one in place.
