Beautiful wedding wardrobe painted from the middle of the 20th, called Uzès wardrobe (and this one was built and painted in uzès). The so-called Uzès painted cabinets appeared in the late 17th, early 18th century, made in small quantities during 1 century because its manufacturing cost was high, even very high depending on the quality of the paint made on it. Its manufacture was then abandoned until the middle of the 20th century or a few rare craftsmen and artists revived it for a few years before being completely abandoned. As a result, it is an exceptional product that is rarely found. The specification of these cabinets of Uzès resided in the hand painting of six areas on the front and featuring scenes of natures, landscapes and sometimes portraits of the bride and groom. A coat of arms or calligraphic initials are always found in the centre at the top of the façade. Produced in very good condition.
