Pitcher Roger Guérin

This large sandstone pitcher is the work of roger guérin, or his son jules, belgian potters of the 20th century. Its shape and decoration are particular, in relief and engraved at the same time. The coat of arms is unidentifiable but typical of production. The dark brown enamel is enhanced with black. It is signed on the basis "guérin v20 vb 2". Handmade in bouffioulx, belgium.
